Ceremony Of Indonesian’s Independence Day At Pattimura Airport Ambon

Ambon - PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Pattimura airport Ambon held a ceremony of the 70^th Indonesian’s Independence Day, Monday morning (17/8). The flag ceremony was attended by officials, employees of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero), Perum LPPNPI (AirNav Indonesia), Periskapura, PT. Angkasa Pura Support, PT. Angkasa Pura Logistics as well as representatives of the concessionaires, airlines and ground handling.

The ceremony held in the parking lot of the office of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Pattimura Airport Ambon was led by the General Manager, Halendra Y.W as the inspector of ceremony. In his speech, Halendra Y.W read the speech of the Minister of SOEs. “Celebration the 70th Indonesian’s Independence Day, should be a milestone for SOEs to provide an optimal contribution to society. SOEs must be present directly in the middle of the community. Therefore, the Ministry of SOEs initiated the program “BUMN hadir untuk negeri” (The SOEs present to the state) organized by all the SOEs simultaneously in 34 provinces throughout the country, which a sign that all State-Owned Enterprises can work together to build the country. A series of activities to be undertaken include: cheap basic commodity program, veteran house renovation, additional aid of laboratory facilities for Vocational High Schools; healthy walk and various competitions, and other programs, including screening of films with the theme nationalism.

Closing the ceremony, citing the state speech of the President Joko Widodo at the annual session of the Assembly: Let us remember the message of Bung Karno on the Eighth Years of Indonesian’s Independence Day on 17 August 1953, “We do not aim to having state only eight years only, but we aim to having state a thousand years ever, having state ever, “To live well need to work hard, takes sacrifice. LET’S WORK for the nation! LET'S WORK for the country! LET’S WORK for the people!” Long live the Republic of Indonesia
